Super Bowl Spread

We had a small get-together at our place for the Super Bowl. I made S'mores Brownies and Craig made an Italian Hoagie. I found the brownie recipe online and followed it exactly. It came out amazing! It was a real crowd-pleaser. http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/food-network-kitchens/smore-brownies-recipe/index.html

For the hoagie, we used a loaf of Italian bread, black forest ham, Genoa salami, provolone cheese, shredded lettuce, sliced tomatoes, oil, red wine vinegar, and a few shakes of dried oregano.

  1. Look, I'm commenting :)

I made those same smores brownies last summer but I found that when I cut them, the marshmallow topping wanted to pop right off the top. How did you keep it on so nicely? Also, you can feel free to come down to San Diego and experiment on us with any new recipes...

  2. It may have helped that the brownies were still warm when I put the marshmallows on top and under the broiler. I also let the entire thing cool overnight before cutting. I used a long knife so I could just press down to cut the brownies in long slices. Then I carefully pulled the marshmallow off of the knife before the next slice. Maybe next time I will shoot some video footage! Thanks for the question Erin :-)
